Benzalkonium chloride, a cationic surfactant, is a non-oxidising bactericide with broad-spectrum, highly efficient bactericidal and algaecidal ability, which can effectively control the propagation of bacteria and algae in water and the growth of slime, as well as a good slime stripping effect and a certain degree of dispersal, penetration, and at the same time, has a certain degree of de-oiling, deodorising ability and corrosion inhibition effect.
